The Benefits Of Reiki Healing

Reiki is a Japanese therapy technique know for stress reduction and relaxation, promoting healing and wellbeing.

It is administered by the "laying on of hands" and is based on the idea that an unseen "life force energy" (or Ki) flows through us and is what causes us to be alive. If our Ki or life force energy is low, then we are more likely to get sick or feel stress, and if it is high, we are more capable of being happy and healthy. Reiki helps to keep this in balance and harmony.

A Tera-Mai™ Reiki treatment is more than just a relaxing holistic treatment, it transforms peoples lives. Using a variety of specific healing techniques the healer is able to release the energetic build up of mental, emotional & physical energy in the auric field. This particular style of Reiki healing is extremely powerful, well balanced and is able to not just connect to the cause of the dis-ease but to breakdown the build up of the energy that may be already showing up as mental, emotional or physical health problems.

Tera-Mai™ Reiki gives fast results, it is non invasive, extremely relaxing and leaves the recipient feeling light and emotionally calm.

Seichim is a living light energy meaning it is a different and higher vibration than Reiki, which is most beneficial for working with emotional and mental levels or concerns, as well as that higher spiritual connection.

Meaning ‘power of powers’ or ‘might’, Seichim is similar to Reiki healing by working on our higher bodies to balance a person mentally and emotionally but also used for physical ailments.

Seichim healing has its origins in Egypt and was the place it was recently ‘rediscovered’. Like Reiki it is also ‘received’ by practitioners like a radio signal and transmitted through the practitioner’s crown, out their hands and into a person’s body. The hands may also be placed over the chakra areas within the energy field.

The predominant form of Reiki practiced worldwide today, also known as Usui reiki, was created by Dr. Mikao Usui in the early 20th century.

Reiki is a complementary or alternative health approach. It does not directly cure diseases or illnesses. Instead, it’s used to manage and improve general well-being.

During a Reiki session, the practitioner places their hands directly on you or above you to bring about healing. The belief is that the practitioner can stimulate your body’s natural healing abilities.
